A pair of framed French Tapestries of courting couples in the countryside, by Manufacture Royale Braquenié, circa 1870.
Signed in the weave Braquenie to the lower left corner.
Dimension with frame: Height 78” x 62 ½ width.
Braquenié helped developing the art of tapestry in Aubusson and has been rewarded for it at the Exposition Universelle in 1844. In 1847, King Louis Philippe awarded Braquenié the title of "Manufacture Royale de Tapis". Braquenié has always served the Greatests (Madame Cliquot Ponsardin, Baron Haussmann, Duke of Padoue, Victor Hugo, Sultan Said Pasha, Emperor Maximilien, Theodor Rossevelt...).

A pair of Chinese porcelain covered jars with Dolphin ormolu mounts and cherry blossom design. Circa 1800. Underglazed date mark (Jiaqing) Chia Ching Nien Chih (1769-1820).

A large pair of Meissen porcelain groupings. Titled: "Cupid in Trouble" and " Cupid Enchained". Designed by C.G. Juechtzer in 1788 and 1789. Circa 1880. Incised J82 and J70.With polychrome glaze on an oval base.
Height: 13" inches, base: 15" x 11" inches.

A stunning pair of patinated bronze Over-Life-Size figural music Torcheres by Jules Felix Coutan (1848-1939). Each modeled as a classically clad female musician holding an instrument, holding aloft a gilt-bronze 10-light candelabrum. Both on a marble pedestal.
Height overall: 111 inches.

A very fine and high quality round Center Table with gilt-bronze mounts and "Incarnat Turquin" marble top. Table with one drawer. Attributed to Francoise Linke. Last quarter 19th century.

A rare pair of palatial size 3tier Empire French gilt bronze and elaborate cut crystal chandeliers each with twelve arms, circa 1820.

A Napoleon III ormolu, patinated bronze and griotte rouge marble clock set garniture. Mid 19th century.
The clock modelled as a seated cherub atop a truncated pedestal, holding aloft a ribbon-tied drum fronted by an enamel dial signed Martinol Paris.
Height: 24" inches.
The clock is flancked by a pair of French two-branch candelabra. Each modelled with a putto supporting two cornucopiae with foliate-cast nozzles, above a fluted columnar and laurel wreath plinth and square marble base. After Clodion, mid 19th century.
Height: 14 ½” inches.

An 18th Century French Regence Gilt-Wood Mirror.
The arched rectangular mirror plate within a confomring frame and inset with mirror panels, the sides with scrolling decoration and female head finials, surmounted by a leafage scroll crest. Second quarter of the 18th century.
Height 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m), width 49 inches (1.24 m).

A rare set of four Meissen porcelain pale-green ground Candlesticks. Each with scroll handles terminating in a Bacchic head, one molded as a heart, one as a diamond, one as a spade and one as a club, painted with Royal playing cards of the corresponding suit within a ribbon-tied gilt surround, the reverse with a similar medallion centering a heart, diamond, spade or a club, all raised on a quatrefoil pedestal molded with ram's masks and wreaths, circa 1860. Blue crossed swords marks to underside of base. br />Height: 7 ¼” inches.
